Norma M. Krawzyk, 88 of Punxsutawney, passed away on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at Penn
Highlands Jefferson Manor.
She was born October 7, 1933 to Robert and Alma (Burkett) Swanson in Punxsutawney.
Norma was a lifelong resident of Punxsutawney, well known for her 40+ years working at S&T Bank,
attaining head teller at the Hampton Ave. office for 9 years before her retirement.
Norma attended the Baptist and Methodist churches in town and was active in community
service. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by all
that knew her. Her kindness, willingness to listen, and to remind us of God’s grace, were her
special attributes. She created family traditions and beautiful holidays that will long be missed.
She and her late husband, Walter, loved camping and square dancing. She spent her last years at
AM/PM Personal Care in Adrian and Jefferson Manor where she was well cared for and loved.
She is survived by two sons. Gary Krawzyk and wife Dede of Reynoldsville, Jeffrey Krawzyk of
Punxsutawney; a grandson, Nathan Krawzyk and wife Emily, a great granddaughter Caroline, of
Glenmoore (near Philadelphia); a brother Ronald Swanson, Detroit, and a sister Beverly Gerth
and husband Al of Idaho, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter Krawzyk, a brother Robert
Swanson and a sister Nancy Sloniger.
Friends will be received on Tuesday December 28, 2021 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:45 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
