Lisa M. Bond

Lisa M. Bond, 47, of Mahaffey, passed away on September 30, 2023 at Mulberry Square Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center in Punxsutawney.

She was born July 22, 1976 to Gary Bond and Robin (Stiffler) Mitchell in Clearfield.  Lisa graduated from Purchase Line High School in 1994 and then worked for Rite Aid for 12 years eventually becoming store manager in Clearfield and Punxsutawney.  She also worked at Family Dollar in Mahaffey.  When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Lisa is survived by a son, Riley S. Bond, Grampian, her parents; Gary W. Bond and wife Annette, Mahaffey, and Robin Mitchell, Patchinville, two brothers; Robin W. Shomo, Fallen Timber and Gary A. Bond and wife Monica, Mahaffey and a sister Heather R. Bond and James Langer, Curwensville, her long-time companion Scott Queen, Grampian and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two grandmothers; “Dot” Bond and Vivian Thompson and grandparents Dean and Myrtle Barrett.

Waldron Funeral Home of Mahaffey has been entrusted with the arrangements.  A funeral service will be held at a later date.
