Helen E. (Coonrad) Junod

Helen E. Junod, 74, of Mahaffey, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at McKinley Health Care in Brookville.

She was born May 6, 1946 to Frank and Leona (Snow) Coonrad in Rome, New York.

Helen attended Otterbein God’s Missionary Church where she assisted and taught school at the Otterbein Christian Academy. She also worked in home health, caring for local friends and neighbors. Helen enjoyed going on four-wheeler rides, walking, her K-9 companions and spending time with her family. Helen also enjoyed having the neighborhood youth to her home to eat pizza, laugh and have fun.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William E. Junod, Mahaffey, four daughters and four sons.

Darren A. Junod, Smithton, PA; Jordan Junod, Brandi Simmons, Punxsutawney, PA, Reymond Junod, Mahaffey, PA; Kelly Gregory, Curwensville, PA; Eric D. Junod; numerous grandchildren and one great grandson; two brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 15, 2021, from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the

Otterbein God’s Missionary Church on Clover Run Road, Mahaffey.
