Arthur Meckley, 73 of Mahaffey, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the home of his brother Michael.

He was born March 15, 1949, to Ray and Ruth (Billings) Meckley in Spangler.

Art enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper, gardening, working on and riding his 4-wheeler.

He is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Ronald Meckley and wife Joyce, Curwensville, Michael Meckley and wife Carolyn, Mahaffey, Carol Bracken and husband Pete, Curwensville, JoAnne Turner and husband Doug, Grampian. Nieces and nephews, Ronald S. Meckley, Renee Howell, Kimberly Campbell, Dawn Ruth Ann Smith, Brett Hardick, Cole Hardick, Clair Lamoreau, Shawn Lamoreau, Cissy Reese, Douglas A. Turner, and Olvia Lanich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roger Meckley, a niece Jodi Derrick, and a nephew Phillip W. Turner.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 5:00 PM at the Waldron Funeral Home, 831 Market Street, Mahaffey, PA 15757.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ronald Meckley, 9713 Cherry Corner Road, Curwensville, PA 16833.
