Arietta J. Jasulavich- Fletcher, 89, of Punxsutawney passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Penn Highlands, Jefferson Manor.

She was born, August 04, 1931 to Arthur D. and Ruby (Parkinson) Burkett in Markton.

Arietta belonged to the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church in Punxsutawney. She moved from Punxsutawney to Texas, where she worked as a security guard in the Houston Area for 14 years. Then moved to Duncansville, New Castle, then retiring in Punxsutawney. She enjoyed raising her family.

She is survived by a daughter Karen Allen and husband Reverend Bruce Allen, Punxsutawney, a son John J. Jasulavich III and wife Judy, Niagara Falls, NY, a step daughter, JoAnne Fletcher Schumacher, Huntington, PA, six grandchildren, Elizabeth Romanio and husband Devin, San Bernardino, CA, Joanna Dinger and husband Rev. Brett Dinger, DuBois, Sarah Markley and husband Capt. Zak Markley, Bethesda, MD, Abigail Allen, Sugar Loaf, CA, Jennifer Andrews and husband Roger, NY, Justin Jasulavich, NY, and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, John J. Jasulavich Jr., and William R. Fletcher and an infant brother Nelson Burkett.

Graveside services will be private at the Olive Cemetery in Oliveburg. The grandson-in-law, Rev. Brett Dinger of the Lakeside United Methodist Church of DuBois, will officiate the service.
