Obituary

Agnes E. (Yorko) Semon, 89, of Glen Campbell, passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.

She was born October 20,1933 to Steve and Mary (Shulick) Yorko in Rossiter.

She was a former member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Arcadia, and was most recently an active member of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Punxsutawney, helping with making the nutrolls and pierogis for fundraising for the church. She was also active with the Glen Campbell American Legion Auxiliary. Agnes was an assistant librarian at the Purchase Line School District for 28 years.

She is survived by a son Kenneth D. Semon and wife Joyce, Nagodoches, TX, two daughters; Marsha D. Skinner and husband Steve, Julian, PA and Constance “Connie” Lowmaster and husband Chris, Glen Campbell, five grandchildren; Kendra, Kandace, Kenneth Jr., Daniel and Lee, three great grandchildren, two sisters; Margaret Revilli and husband Richard and Marcella Owens and husband Chris, both of CT, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert G. Semon in 2017, three brothers; Edward W., Donald J. and Stephen Yorko, and four sisters; Evelyn Kollar, Anna Hession, Martha Yorko and Dorothy Molinengo.

Services are private.

The McCabe Funeral Home Inc., of Punxsutawney, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
