Thomas C. Shields

Thomas C. Shields, 50, of Gowanda, New York, formerly of Rossiter, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home. Tom was born October 14, 1967 in Hastings, a son of David L. Shields of Rossiter and the late Marion "Lori" (White) Shields. Tom was a Union Laborer for many years working many construction sites. He loved spending time at deer camp hunting and fishing and having a good time with his family and friends. He absolutely loved dining out and eating lobster with his friends. In addition to his father David, he is survived by his stepson; Michael Shelton of Georgia and his beloved step grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother; Lee Shields of Morgantown, W Va., one sister; Theresa Kensel and husband Joseph of N. Collins, NY., many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
