Ruby E. Vrobel

Ruby E. Vrobel, 90 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Ruby was born August 27, 1927 in Mahaffey to the late William and Verna (Wayland) Bracken. She was married to Edward E. Vrobel who preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons; Bill Vrobel and wife Debi of Orange Park, Fl, Edward Vrobel and Richie Vrobel both of Punxsutawney. One sister; Martha Ferringer of Marionville, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held to celebrate Ruby's life at 11 am Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagle officiating. Private interment will be in McClure Cemetery in Big Run.
