Roger C. Meckley

Roger C. Meckley, 72 of Punxsutawney, passed away, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home. Roger was born March 29, 1946 in Spangler. He was a son of the late Ray and Ruth (Billings) Meckley. He was a US Army Veteran. Roger is survived by his daughter; Dawn Ruth Ann Smith and three grandchildren; Nick, Evan and Josh. Two sisters; Carol Bracken and husband Pete, JoAnne Turner and husband Douglas and three brothers; Ronald Meckley and wife Joyce, Mike Meckley and wife Carolyn and Arthur Meckley. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Roger enjoyed woodworking in his spare time. Friends will be received from 4 -8 pm Friday, September 14, 2018 and from 10 - 11 am, time of service, on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey with Pastor Jim Hurd officiating.
