Rebecca A. "Becky" Roush

Rebecca A. Roush, 82, of Harrisburg, formerly of Punxsutawney, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born October 30. 1942 to Benjamin and Mabel (Rosborough) White in Punxsutawney.

Becky was a 1960 Punxsutawney Area High School graduate. She married Joseph A. Roush, Jr. on November 23, 1962. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed visiting flea markets and yard sales.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Joseph A. Roush, Jr. of Harrisburg, she is survived by a son, David R. Roush (Kristi Haslock), Mechanicsburg, a daughter, Tammy J. Hostler (Kenneth), Harrisburg, four grandchildren; Austin Henshaw, Tyler Henshaw, Kenton Henshaw, and David Roush, a brother, Fred White, and a sister, Sally Sprankle, both of Punxsutawney, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.

Friends will be received on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc, 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 with Kenneth S. Hostler officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
