Ray Bargerstock

Ray Bargerstock, 83 of Reynoldsville, peacefully passed away on Saturday July 12, 2025 at the Fountains at DuBois.

He was born December 25, 1941 to Emory and Mable (Dobson) Bargerstock, in Gaskill Township, Jefferson County.

Ray was employed at Rockwell International in DuBois for over 40 years before retiring in 2003. He enjoyed camping, bluegrass music and staying busy around his home. Ray was always up for helping his friends and family with any type of project that might come up.

He is survived by a son Kirk Bargerstock and wife Debbie, Mahaffey, a daughter, Kelly Rae Sutter (Charlie Miller), MD, five grandchildren: Shanna Gula and husband Craig, Deanna Bauer and husband David, Brett Bargerstock and wife Kelcey, Brice Bargerstock and wife Whitney, Grayce Sutter, and 13 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 62 years Karen D. “Pork” Bargerstock, on March 2, 2023, and two sisters, Helen London and Dolores Kuntz.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 with Pastor Nancy Basile officiating.

Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Rossiter.
