Randolph C. "Randy" McDivitt

Randolph C. “Randy” McDivitt, 71, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Mulberry Square, surrounded by his family.

He was born September 25, 1954 to Richard E. and Evelyn M. (Hetrick) McDivitt in Punxsutawney.

Randy attended Porter Methodist Church. He was a 1972 graduate of Jeff Tech. He worked for Doverspike Coal Company before becoming a self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, telling a good story, (which were taken with a grain of salt), and taking his dogs Trixie and Cooper for a ride. Most of all Randy loved spending time with his family.

He survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna G. (Ecelbarger) McDivitt, two children; Benjamin R. McDivitt and wife Nicole, all of Punxsutawney and daughter, Shayla D. Gahagan and husband Micheal, Telford, PA, six grandchildren; Tanner McDivitt and wife Brianna, Isabella Rosas and husband Abel, Jaugar McDivitt and wife Toya, Emmie, Grace and Hadlee Gahagan, three great grandchildren; Levy and Rosabel Rosas, and Elowyn McDivitt, a brother Rodney McDivitt and wife Tammy, three sisters; Mitzi McDivitt, Heidi Strishock and husband Ed, and Mona Powell and husband Glenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a great grandson Bodie Lee McDivitt, and his twin brother Richard McDivitt.

Friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Zion Methodist Church in Porter where a memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30, 2026 with Pastor Robyn Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Steffey Chapel, 1970 Steffey Chapel Road, Rossiter, PA 15772.
