Miles John Bouch

Miles John Bouch, 72, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Miles was born on January 11, 1952 to Walter and Margaret (Clark) Bouch in Punxsutawney.

He graduated from Purchase Line High School, before marrying the love of his life Beverly Kanarr on October 16th, 1971. Miles was drafted into the Army in 1972 and later deployed to Germany. After his military service he went to work as an equipment operator for multiple coal companies. Miles was a very do-it-yourself kind of man with hobbies like woodworking and mechanics. He was a dog lover who enjoyed camping, fishing, and muzzleloader hunting; but what he loved the most was spending time with his family.

Miles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly and their three children: Miles James Bouch (Vicki Black) of Mahaffey, Michael D. Bouch (Marlene) of Mahaffey, Robyn Bloom (Kevin) of Punxsutawney. He is also survived by five grandchildren: John David “JD” Bouch of Indiana, Alexis Lucas of Punxsutawney, Andrew Bouch of Mahaffey, Gavin Bouch of Mahaffey, and Zachary Baird of DuBois; one great-grandchild, Miles Lucas of Punxsutawney; a special niece, Bethany Henry (Scott) with their newborn Elias Henry of Hillsdale; a special family member, Ty Lucas of Mahaffey; a sister, Barb Westover of Burnside; a brother, Tom Bouch (Denise) of Mahaffey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Lynn Bouch and Ron Bouch; four brothers-in-law: Chuck Westover, Roger Kanarr, Russell Kanarr, and Bill Montgomery; a sister-in-law, Joanne Bouch; and his in-laws, Jim and Marg Kanarr.

Friends and family will be welcome on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Waldron Funeral Home, 831 Market Street, Mahaffey PA, 15757.
