Mary Jane Bennett

Mary Jane "Mickey" Bennett, age 81, of Mahaffey, passed away, Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Penn Highlands Dubois. Mickey was born December 23, 1936 in Mahaffey, to the late Frank and Anna (Costo) Breth, along with three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her beloved husband James E. Bennett of Mahaffey. Mickey was the youngest and last surviving member of her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. "Gam" cherished the time spent with all of her grandchildren and her cat, Romeo. In addition to her husband James, she is survived by one son; William Bennett and wife Melissa of Coolspring. Three grandchildren; Amber Kuchcinski and husband Nick of Erie, Jacob Bennett and wife Debbie of Arcadia and Madison Bennett. Four great grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Matthew Kuchcinski, Austin and Jakoby Bennett and many nieces and nephews, whom she adored. At the request of Mrs. Bennett, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey.
