Marie LaRue Swanson

Marie LaRue Swanson, age 76, of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital. Marie was born January 8, 1942 in Punxsutawney, to the late Wilber and Lucy (McCullough) Wright. She is survived by her children; Alan Dinger and wife Christine, Ronald Meckley and wife Cansas, all of Punxsutawney, Renee’ Howell and husband Ed of Marion Center, along with ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son; W. Brian Dinger and one daughter; Denise Swanson. Friends will be received from 1-4 pm on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney with a funeral service following at 4 pm with Pastor David Shay officiating.
