Marcella Obson Campbell, 92 of McLean, VA passed away Sunday January 22, 2017 in Arlington, VA.
Marcella was born May 14, 1924 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late George and Helen (Lazor) Obson.
She was a graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School Class of 1942. She was a founding member of the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and active in numerous volunteer services.
She was also an avid tennis player, and a member of the Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria, VA.
Marcella is survived by her daughter; Kathleen C. Loun of Vienna and husband Don, VA, her son; James B. Campbell Jr. and wife Debra Gayda of Chadds Ford, PA, and granddaughters; Elizabeth Loun and Rebecca Campbell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Isabel Garrison, Helen Samson, and brothers; Alexander and George Obson.
All arrangements are private for family and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home of Punxsutawney.
