Lu Ann Schrock

Lu Ann Schrock, 73, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2026 at Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital.

She was born March 21, 1953 to Lewis and Patricia (Blose) Cunningham in Punxsutawney.

Lu Ann was a former member of the Rossiter Presbyterian Church, and American Sealyham Terrier Club. She was a 1971 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. After high school she attended Penn State University. In 1972 she started her career in banking at Punxsutawney National Bank. Lu Ann then worked for Keystone National Bank, National City Bank, Integra Bank and PNC Bank. While working at National City bank she earned sales awards in four different years. She spent over 40 years in banking before retiring in 2016 from S and T Bank. She enjoyed showing her Sealyham Terriers for many years and traveled to most of the beaches from Florida to Cape Cod for her summer vacations.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James L. “Jim” Schrock, Punxsutawney, her miniature Schnauzer, Urmalee, two sisters and a brother; Susan Cunningham, Phillip Cunningham and wife Patty, and Nancy Cunningham, all from Punxsutawney, a sister-in-law Linda Smith and husband Vern, a brother-in-law Chuck Schrock and wife Paula, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family of Lu Ann Schrock is being cared for by the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., of Punxsutawney. At Lu Ann’s request there will be no visitation or services.
