Linda G. Reitz

Linda G. Reitz, 78, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday evening at her home with her daughter and family by her side.

She was born December 11, 1947 to Donald and Martha (Wright) Stewart in Punxsutawney.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. She was an active member of Mt. Carmel Church, attending Bible study and other church events. She was an administrative assistant for several businesses and worked at Rola Jensen. Linda was known as an amazing cook and loved cooking for her family and friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Raquel L. McConnaughey and husband Michael, Punxsutawney, two grandchildren, Shelby Domb and husband Dustin, Irwin and Sydney McConnaughey, Punxsutawney, two great-grandchildren Cammrick and Thea, a sister Donna Kanouff, Juneau and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Patrick A. Reitz, Sr. December 2, 2013, a sister, Janet E. Painter, brothers, infant Wayne Dale Stewart, Jerry H. Stewart, Terry G. Stewart and a half-brother Donald E. Stewart.

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
