Lillie M. Pearce, our beloved mother, age 85 of Rossiter, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

Lillie was born September 30, 1931 in Rossiter, a daughter of the late Lewis and Mary (Fisher) Shields.

She was married to her beloved husband Ralph Pearce Sr., who preceded her in death January 2, 2003.

Lillie loved playing bingo, singing, quilting, rug making, but most of all loved time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Lillie is survived by three sons; Ralph Pearce Jr. and wife Susan of Anita, Milton Pearce and wife Janice of Montana, William Mark Pearce and wife Donna of Rossiter, seven daughters; Mary Rhodes of Penfield, Joline Fleming of Rossiter, Kathy Gomola of Punxsutawney, Charlotte Holoway of Colorado, Patricia Craft and husband Dennis of Punxsutawney, Molly Huber and friend Pete Deyarmin of Cherry Tree, Wanda Huey of Rossiter, three sisters; Loretta Ostrowski, Violet Smith, and Pansy Stiver, all of Punxsutawney, 33 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, Fayla.

In addition to her husband Ralph, she was preceded in death by one son; Leonard Pearce, five brothers; Russell, Lemuel, Virgil, Billy, and Grant Shields, four sisters; Edna Smith, Hilda Lunger, Cecilia Fetterman, Velma Pearce, one deceased grandson; William Pearce.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Saturday October 15, 2016 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm Sunday, October 16th at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Teasdale officiating.

Interment will follow at Urey Pine Grove Cemetery.
