Kathy Ann Martin

Kathy Ann (Kromer) Martin, 74, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Butler Hospital.

She was born July 12, 1951 to Leroy and Dolly (Vinskowski) Kromer in Punxsutawney.

She was an active member of the Punxsutawney Church of God and the Red Hat Society. Kathy graduated from the Punxsutawney Area High School in 1969. She was self-employed with her bookkeeping and tax preparation business. She also helped with her husband’s business, Martin Welding. Kathy enjoyed visiting with her friends, gardening, making crafts, shopping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Noel D. Martin, two sons; Joel M. Martin and Matthew G. Martin all of Punxsutawney, three grandchildren; Chelsy M. Martin, Moresville, NC, Alaina M. Siebenaler and husband Mitch, Chandler, AZ, and Alex N. Martin, Madison, OH, and one great grandchild, Cyrilla Maples, Moresville, NC.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Randall Kromer, a sister Judy Aikens and a daughter-in-law Kelly (Shaffer) Martin.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 3-7 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 and also on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the Punxsutawney Church of God, 23 Skyview Drive, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 with Rev. Rob Van Fossen officiating.
