Kathleen M. Tyger

Kathleen M. Tyger, age 77 of Punxsutawney, passed away on October 10, 2026. She was born on September 5, 1949, in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania.

A 1967 graduate of West Branch Area High School.

Kathie enjoyed crafts, knitting and traveling the country with her husband of 27 years, Tim. A few of their favorite destinations included the state parks of Florida, Topsail Island in North Carolina and Alaska.

Kathie loved spending time and making crafts with family

Kathie was proceeded in death by her loving husband Timothy Tyger last year.

She is survived by her children; Jamie Coudriet and wife Tammie and Joel Coudriet, stepchildren; Robert W. Tyger and wife Nancy, Tonya D. Wood and husband Gene, and Timothy A. Tyger and wife Tracy, grandchildren; Gage Coudriet and Xavier Coudriet, step grandchildren; Lindsey Tyger, Shauna Osikowicz and husband Jacob, Jacob Tyger and Joshua Tyger; step great grandchildren; Aubree, Emerson and Beckham and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Punxsutawney Area Rails to Trails Association, PO Box 16, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 or the Punxsutawney Memorial Library, 301 E Mahoning St #4, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.

Services are private and have been entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Avenue, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
