John T. Babco
August 31, 1941 — July 26, 2017
John T. Babco Jr., 75 of Rossiter, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Babco was born August 31, 1941 in Glen Campbell, a son of the late John W. and Elizabeth (Kraynak) Babco.
He retired from PennDot and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection. He also enjoyed spending time gardening, hunting and his beloved cat Fuzzy.
He is survived by one son; John Vos (Kim) of Dubois, three daughters; Mary Bergreen (Donald) of Rossiter, Della Krolick (Ken) of Punxsutawney, Deborah Wright (Robert) of Rossiter, fourteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to his long time companion, Dolores Vos, he is preceded in death by one son; Robert Vos, one daughter; Ruby Huey, two brothers; William and Richard Babco, one sister; Mary Ann Kemmerer, and one granddaughter.
Friends will be received from Noon until 2 pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, where a Blessing Service will follow at 2 PM.
Interment in Union Cemetery is private for family.
