Joan Wilson, 75, a guest at Rebekah Manor, Northern Cambria, formerly of Mahaffey, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Miners Hospital in Hastings.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Spangler on October 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Russell and Olive (Holes) McMasters.
She is survived by one son; Wayne R."Ronnie" Wilson, Jr. and wife Tressa of Patton, one daughter; Nancy Grimes and husband Thomas of Gainesville,Virginia, four grandchildren; Jessica Goldberg, Bradley Wilson, Thomas Grimes and Jessica Clark and four great grandchildren, one sister; Dorothy Gowin of Mahaffey, many nieces and nephews including her special niece and nephew; Marcia Smith and R.J. Marshall. She is also survived by her former husband; Wayne R. Wilson, Sr. of Gainesville, VA.
She is preceded in death by a son; William Wilson, two brothers; Earl and Ivan McMasters and two sisters; Leona and Eleanor Spaid.
She will be greatly missed by friends and staff at the Rebekah Manor.
Friends will be received from 2 until 3 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey where a memorial service will be held at 3 pm with Pastor James Hurd officiating.
