James C. Scarantine, 62 of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at his home. Mr. Scarantine was born August 17, 1954 in Punxsutawney, a son of the late James and Dorothy (Lyle) Scarantine. James is survived by two children; Darby Scarantine of Tarentum and Natalie Smith and husband Greg of Punxsutawney, a sister; Susan Hill of DuBois, special freind; Donna Ford of Punxsutawney, five grandchildren; Gavin and Cody Scarantine and Emily, Kylee and Abby Smith. All arrangements are private for family and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home of Punxsutawney.
