Isabell Good, 80, passed peacefully on Friday, November 6, surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of Frank and Martha Alabran.
Isabell graduated from Punxsutawney High School in 1964. She married her best friend in 1965. They celebrated 61 years of marriage in June. She was a member of the First Church of God in Punxsutawney and active with their OWLs group.
Isabell lived through melody, effortlessly recalling the lyrics to every tune that played and was known to break into sudden funny dances when the music moved her to do so. The colorful flowers that adorned her porches were evidence of her gentle patience and a reflection of her kind, loving heart. She adored her grandkids, delighted in watching them grow up, and was excited for their futures.
She is survived by her husband, Richard (Dick); a daughter DawnAnn and husband Ray Cass; a son, Brian and wife Kim Good; two grandchildren, Brice Good and Sarah Cass. Her siblings Frances Torrez and Ken Alabran also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings Betty Irwin, Bill Alabran, Edith Ann Alabran, and Ruby McIntyre.
Friends will be received on Sunday November 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 with Rev. Rob VanFossen Officiating.
Interment will take place at North Point Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the OWL’s group, C/O First Church of God, 23 Skyview Drive, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
