Helen L. Tubbs, 90 of Curwensville, passed away at her home Saturday, June 17, 2017 with her family by her side.
Helen was born January 9, 1927 in Curwensville, a daughter of the late Clair S. and Eva (Nicholson) Thompson.
She was a Protestant by faith.
On April 12, 1963, she was married to Thomas Tubbs in Clearfield, PA by Rev. Roy Houser.
Her past employment included doing office work and retail sales at several stores.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; two sons, Larry (Jan) Killion of Jersey Shore, PA, Tom (Linda) Tubbs of Clearfield, PA; one daughter, Tammy (Ken) Johnson of Grampian, PA; one brother, Richard (Cheryl) Thompson of Renovo; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and on great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Killion; one son, Dennis Killion; one brother, Frank Thompson; and one sister, Dorthy Mayer.
Friends will be received from 1-2 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey, where a memorial service will be held at 2 pm with Rev. Bruce Dimmick officiating.
