Harry "Le Roy" L. Harrold

Le Roy Harrold, 88 passed away on Wednesday September 18, 2024 at Meadows Nursing Home.

He was born February 25, 1936 to Mary (Costic) Harrold in Punxsutawney. 

Le Roy worked as a foremen for Frank Roberts and sons for many years before retiring. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He was a man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with his grandchildren. 

Le Roy is survived by a step-daughter, Susan Maille, Sweet Valley; a son Frances Harrold, Punxsutawney; a sister, Marlene Houser (Tim), Dayton; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha (Shaffer) Harrold; his mother; two daughters, Christina Rose Maze, and June Mahoney; and a son, Ray Zajaczkowski. 

Services are private and put into the care of McCabe Funeral Home, 114 Maple Ave. Punxsutawney PA, 15767. 

Internment will take place at Lakelawn Cemetery.
