Geneva Breth, 90 of Punxsutawney, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at DuBois Nursing Home.
Mrs. Breth was born February 15, 1926 in Allegheny County, KY., a daughter of the late James and America (Roe) Miller.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband James C. Breth, a daughter; Crystal Breth and several brothers and sisters.
She was a member of the Church of God in Punxsutawney. She loved dancing, time with her grandchildren and family and traveling.
Geneva is survived by one son; James Breth and wife Brenda of Meadeville, three daughters; Pamela Carpin and husband Craig of Reynoldsville, Patricia Woods and husband Allen of Punxsutawney and Nancy Breth of Shippenville. Three sisters; Juanita Sexton of Virginia, Maggie McGraw and Maxine Wagner both of Baltimore, MD., seven grandchildren; James S., Kelsie and Kerri Breth, Tara Spearing, Samantha Carpin, Jennifer and Kristen Woods and nine grandchildren; Tyler and Jenna Breth, Joshua and Jordan Siverd, Jacob Breth, Xaden Long, Adrienne, Meila and Emma Woods and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 9 am until 11 am Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the CMA Church in Punxsutawney where a funeral service will be held at 11 am with Pastor Bob Grimes officiating.
Interment is private for family.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimers Foundation or DuBois Nursing Home.
