Francesca (Restifo) Anderson Tribisondi, 89, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 15, 2024, in her home surrounded by her children.

Frances was born on July 7, 1935, to Gaetano “Guy” and Domenica “Maggie” (Irato) Restifo in Punxsutawney. Her given name was “Francesca Maria Restifo”. She was the youngest child. 

Frances always found joy in crocheting and working in her flower gardens. Her favorite saying was, “Everyday is a good day when you can get up in the morning.”

She is survived by a son, Jack L. Anderson (Dianne); and two daughters, Nancy J. White (John), and Cathy L. Brocious; her dearly loved six grandchildren; Justin, Ryan, and Matthew Anderson, Mark and Jason White, and Lindsay Brocious; great grandchildren, Charlie and Isabelle Anderson; two nephews, Keith and David Smith; and one niece, Roxanne Cole. 

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husbands; Gordon (Swede) Anderson and John Tribisondi; a brother, Jack L. Restifo who was killed in action in World War II, 1944, two sisters, Angelina and Nunciata; one grandson, Eric David Anderson; and one nephew, Jerry Covatch. 

A memorial service will not be held at this time. A gravesite prayer service will be held at a later date so the family can collectively join together. 

Please honor our mother with a prayer of your own for your lost loved ones. And please honor our vets who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Love to you all, Jack, Nancy, and Cathy.
