Ed had many interests.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, camping, attending Bluegrass music festivals, watching NASCAR, and dirt track racing. One of Ed’s favorite things to do was to grow out his beard and  dress as Santa. (His wife would dress as Mrs. Claus.) The thing Ed loved most was talking to people.  Everywhere he went; he made new friends.  He loved visiting with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews, and their children.

He is survived by his wife Betty (Reitz) Leasure, Marion Center and her son, Dan Phillips of Summerville.
