Dennis L. Pennington, 58 of Punxsutawney, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home after a long courageous battle with ALS.
Dennis was born July 12, 1958 in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Edward and Henrietta (Stamler) Pennington.
Denny worked for Aspen Tree Experts, Derume Glass and Lifestyles before his illness.
He is survived by his Life Companion and primary caregiver; Suzie Young of Rossiter, one son; Ryan Pennington and Fiancee'; Brittany Martin, one daughter; Maxi Wyant, two brothers; Ed Pennington and wife Peggy and Fred Pennington and wife Arlene, four grandchildren; Brinkley and Gage Pennington, Zachery Wyant, Harley Test and one great granddaughter; Caylynn Wyant and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son; Justin Pennington and a special Aunt Mary Painter.
All arrangements are private for family and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
Interment will be in Pearce Cemetery beside his son Justin.
