Darl Paul Carr

Darl Paul Carr, 82, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at his home.

He was born January 22, 1943 to E. Leone (Stear) Carr in Punxsutawney.

Darl attended the Ringgold United Methodist Church and was a member of Dora Evangelical Church and the NRA. He was a self-employed coal truck driver and farmer for most of his life. Darl loved farming and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 46 years and the love of his life, Betty Lou (Dinger) Carr in 2013, two brothers and a sister, Richard Carr, Wilma Carr and Don Carr.

He is survived by his wife Marsha L. (Kensinger) Carr, his children; Darla L. Duke and husband Brock, Duane C. Carr and wife Pam, all of Punxsutawney, Dean A. Carr and wife Michele, Quakertown, five grandchildren; Megan Duke, Danielle Pearce and husband Cody, Isiah Carr and wife Leaonna, Darren Carr and wife Ainsley, David Ellenberger and wife Lauren, great grandchildren; Wyatt Pearce, Peyson Mercer, Maliah Mercer, Maddex Bouch, Praxten Carr, Waylen Carr, and Jaxen Carr, step son Michael L. Bowser, Somerset and Tracy L. Spingola and husband Douglas, Frederick, MD and his faithful dog Sadie.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 3-7 PM and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the McCabe Funeral Home, 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 with John Milliron officiating.

Interment will take place at Zion Cemetery, Porter.
