Cynthia A “Cindy” Rebuck, 64, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Friday December 16, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born May 15, 1958 to the late Philip P. and Nancy (Frantz) Brown in Philipsburg.

Cindy graduated from Moshannon Valley High School in 1976. She took pride working as an EMT and as a CNA. She worked at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation in Clearfield. Cindy was co-owner of Rebuck’s South Side Service where she served as secretary and ran the day-to-day operations of the business alongside her husband Denny. Cindy was a current member of the Punxsutawney Borough Council. She also volunteered for years as the cook at the Punxsutawney Lions Club. Cindy enjoyed going for trips with her husband in their motorhome and also liked to take trips on their motorcycle. She loved driving around town in her smart car, saving many stray cats, taking care of her dogs, Duke, Harley and Daisy, but most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband Denny Rebuck of Punxsutawney, three daughters and a son, Lori (Lowe) Ogden and husband Tony of Clearfield, Krista (Lowe) Butler and husband Phil of Curwensville, Ray Lowe of Clearfield, and Charity McCloskey and husband Nick of Snow Shoe. She is also survived by four step-children, Keri Cimarolli and husband Rob, CA, Kimberly Feighner and husband John of Edinboro, Kyle Rebuck of Punxsutawney, and Kelsey Rebuck of Chippewa, and two brothers and a sister, Clyde Brown of Punxsutawney, Kim Dixon of Philipsburg, and Patrick Brown and wife Kathy of Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Crystal Albright Foreman.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 with Rev. Paul Price officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Punxsutawney Lions Club, PO Box 472 Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
