Charles Roy Snyder

Charles Roy Snyder, 78, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Mulberry Square.

He was born December 22, 1946 to Elmer Edwin and Rose Anna (Rockwell) Snyder in Timblin the 12th of 13 brothers and sisters.

Roy was a 1966 Graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic. Roy then drove a milk truck for Kromer's Dairy. He enjoyed watching his classic western shows and movies.

He is survived by three brothers; Kenneth E. Snyder, Meadville, Ronald A. Snyder and wife Joan, Punxsutawney, and Fred L. Snyder and wife Janet, Little Washington, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767.

Military honors will be provided by the Jefferson County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

Interment will take place at Worthville Cemetery.
