Carol A. Wineberg

Carol A. Wineberg, 81 of Punxsutawney, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at her home. Carol was born September 8, 1936 in Punxsutawney a daughter of the late Clifton and Mildred (Orvetta) Wineberg. She was a member of the Elk Run Avenue Chapel. Carol is survived by her siblings; Clifton M. Wineberg of DuBois, Darlene Deal of Gloucester, VA., Donna Frantz and husband Bill, Janice McConnaughey and husband Bud all of Punxsutawney and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4-8 pm Friday, January 5, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Joseph Buterbaugh officiating. Interment at Ridgemount Cemetery is private.
