Carol D. Laska

Carol D. Laska, 67, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born September 23, 1957 in Punxsutawney, to Dessie and Margaret (Stefko) Laska.

Carol was a member of Saint Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, and a member of ARC of Jefferson and Clearfield Counties. Carol worked at Goodwill and ICW in Indiana. A lifelong resident of Punxsutawney, she most recently lived at Mulberry Square for the last ten years. She enjoyed coloring, word search, puzzles, pipe cleaner crafts and most of all she enjoyed karaoke.

She is survived by a brother Thomas E. Laska and Carol George, Erie, a sister Patty A. Anderson and husband Gary, Punxsutawney, nieces and nephews, Thomas and Melissa Laska and family, Joseph and Rebecca Laska, and family, Megan Laska and family all of Erie, PA, Mark and Alyssa Laska and family, NC, Dr. Renee Anderson and husband Dr. Gary LaNoce and family, Conshohocken, PA, Jody Wilson and husband Justin and family, Lutz, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 AM at Saint Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, 616 West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney, PA 15767, until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM with Fr. William Laska, Celebrant.

Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

The McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., of Punxsutawney, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
