Bruce A. Wolfgang

Bruce A. Wolfgang, 73, of Rossiter, peacefully, passed away on Friday, with his family by his side at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.

He was born July 15, 1952 to Harry and Sally (States) Wolfgang in Punxsutawney.

Bruce attended Mt. Carmel Church in Mahaffey. He was a 1970 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. He worked for various machine shops in the area and retired from Hetager Drilling. Bruce enjoyed taking care of his yard, gardening, hunting, and talking sports. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mitzi (Sutter) Wolfgang, Rossiter, two daughters; Toshia A. Long, (Jason), Rossiter and Brandi T. Bowser, (Justin), Punxsutawney, four grandsons; Mark Wood, Tyler Wood, Erik Bowser (Amberly), and Zach Bowser, a great-grandson Hoyt Bowser, and a brother Joel Wolfgang (Linda), Rossiter.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services are private and have been entrusted to the McCabe Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney, PA
