Betty Louise Loughry, 94 of Rochester Mills, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Betty was born August 12, 1923 in Indiana County to the late Francis and Edith (Neely) Wissinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Billy R. Loughry on December 29, 2014 and an infant daughter Connie Louise. Betty was a Charter Member of the Marion Center Bowling League as well as the 500 Club of Marion Center. She was the former Tax Collector for E. Mahoning Twp. and a Supervisor for Bell Telephone. Betty loved golfing, bowling, traveling, cooking and baking delicious apple pies. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children; Carol Ann Johnson and husband James of Madison, WI., William A. Loughry of Rochester Mills, Thomas H. Loughry and wife Tina Rae of Marion Center, John W. Loughry and wife Laurie Kopas Loughry of Rochester Mills. Her brothers; Dean Wissinger of Ohio, Don Evans of Colorado, Bob Wissinger of Texas and her sister; Martha McCuctheon of Apollo. Grandchildren; Steven Johnson and wife Melanie, David Johnson and wife Kimberly, Rachel Bratton, Tom Loughry, Jr. and wife Joelene, Melissa Vaughn and husband Jayson, Jennifer Carotelli and husband Frank, Johnny Loughry and great grandchildren; Jordon Bratton, Anthony Carotelli, Madelyn Rae Loughry, Raegan Nicole Loughry, Jayce Ray Vaughn and Richard David Johnston along with several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6-8 pm Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. Additional viewing will be from 10-11 am Friday, February 23, 2018 at the funeral home where a service will be held at 11 am with Pastor Stephen Bond officiating.
