Amos J. Gibson, 83 of Stump Creek, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Gibson was born June 20, 1933 in Colver, a son of the late Arthur and Alice (Jackson) Gibson.
He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict.
Amos loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by three children; Lincoln and Erik Gibson and Melissa Timberlake all of Ohio. His loving companion, Dorothy Vite of Stump Creek and one sister; Patricia Mumau of Marion Center.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.
All arrangements are private and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
