Richard D "Dick" Kitchen

Richard D. Kitchen, 77, of Mahaffey, passed away Sunday January 17, 2022 at Mountain Laurel Personal Care in Clearfield.

He was born June 15, 1944 to Theadore and Etta (Guyer) Kitchen in Five Points.

Dick was a member of Calvary Chapel Church.  He lived in Virginia for over 20 years before moving back to Mahaffey to be closer to his family. He enjoyed attending church and being around his church family. In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and doing yard work. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pamela K. (Carver) Kitchen, Mahaffey, whom he married July 17, 1993. He is also survived by a daughter, Marcellia (Marcy) Tenon, IN, two sons, Richard D. Kitchen, DuBois, and Samuel T. Kitchen, Mahaffey, three grandsons, James Kitchen and wife Sarah, Indiana, Allen Kitchen and wife Tiffany, Mahaffey, Jacob Kitchen, Mahaffey,   four sisters, Nancy Hugill and husband Arthur, Mahaffey, Joyce Rummel, VA, Sandra Watson, TN, Helen Gallipo, OH, three step children, Lisa Shane and husband Rick, VA, Dan Grad, Erie, John Grad, OH, step-grandchildren, Brandie Dean, Garrett Dean, Jackson Grad, Presley Cline, Kennedy Grad, Ashley Vasquez, John Grad Jr., Richard Grad, and numerous step great-grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Samantha Kitchen, one brother and five sisters.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 PM, at Calvary Chapel Church, 19 Chapel Campground Road, Mahaffey, 15757, Friends will also be received on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the church.

Interment will take place at LaJose Cemetery.

The Waldron Funeral Home of Mahaffey, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
