Betty Jean (Troutman) Gaston

Betty Jean Gaston, 86, of Youngstown, Ohio, formerly of Punxsutawney, passed away on Friday December 3, 2020 in Ohio.

She was born July 13, 1934 to Boyd and Blanche (Blose) Troutman in Punxsutawney.

Jean took great pride in raising her family. She enjoyed playing bingo, attending car shows and spending time with family and friends. She hugged everyone she met.

She is survived by a son Dennis Gaston and wife Marlene, Columbiana, OH, three grandsons, Christopher, Matthew and Jason Gaston,

and two brothers, Ken Troutman and wife Sandy, Youngstown, OH, Bill Troutman and wife Robin, Punxsutawney, two sisters Twila Baun, Punxsutawney,

Marian Smith, Punxsutawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by parents, her late husband, Arthur “Butts” Gaston in 1998, a brother Bob Troutman, and four sisters Katherine Lake, Viola Christian, Ruth Kaylor, Joyce Loretta Troutman

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc. 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA

Interment will be private at Union Cemetery, Rossiter.
